Quinta do Vale is surrounded by a great and diverse greenery from all over the world. The challenge was to create an idyllic venue for wedding and corporate events that would respect the property's beauty.
The main project's purpose was to extend part of the original house into a corporate event facility with capacity for 250 people. As local authorities limited the area allowed for extension plans it was necessary to adapt the main house in such way that it could incorporate a industrial kitchen for catering purposes as well as all necessary staff areas while still managing to maintain the owners residence in the upper floor.
The designs main feature was to create a space that could relate with the wilderness outside allowing to constantly see the landscape.
